National Research Council:

Biosolids Applied to Land: Advancing Standards and Practices, Advance Copy, July 2002, National Research Council, 282 pp.

This report challenged the EPA to reconsider its position on land application of sewage sludge. In response, the EPA announced, on December 31, 2003, that they had identified 15 additional harmful chemicals found in sludge that required additional study. See Targeted National Sewage Sludge Survey
